The Texas Catholic is looking to remain relevant with the youth and young adults of the Diocese of Dallas and is creating a 12-member Youth Advisory Panel comprised of high school and college students registered in parishes in the diocese.

If you are someone or know of someone who is interested in becoming part of this new panel, please ensure that an application is submitted by Dec. 15, 2008.

The Youth Advisory Panel will meet quarterly beginning in January to discuss issues important to the Catholic youth in the Diocese of Dallas and beyond.

Under the guidance of Texas Catholic staffers, youth and young adults will become involved in the newsgathering process and will produce on a regular basis stories, columns, photos, graphics and other multimedia content for use in the print version of the Texas Catholic, El Católico de Texas and www.texascatholic.com.
